While I sat and drank, one which refreshed my mind
My native land's delicious tea
Became the drink of the many peoples' of mine
Tea of my sole mother in the universe

When I came, skipping through villages
The cooked tea of my short-spined mother

Tea made with water brought from unfrozen water
Invited far-away guests
Added milk with her soft heart

Hardy men grew up drinking
Freed the pain from their bodies
Before the visible goods of migration

Your black dark eyes look at me
So warm that they could melt my heart
My beloved, my dearest design
I am overcome, unable to say so
With a twinkling gaze in your eyes
